Our Perfect Day: Saying "I Do" at Our Own Elopement Wedding Venue in Philadelphia

This is the story of how we tied the knot at our own Elopement Venue in Philadelphia.

The Dream Begins

Our journey started with a shared dream: to create a special place where couples could celebrate their love in an intimate, meaningful way. We poured our hearts and souls into transforming a charming space into a cozy, romantic haven for elopements. Every detail, from the mismatched second-hand chairs, the wallpapered wall, and all the plants, was designed to make each moment magical for the couples who chose our venue.

The Big Decision

We decided to elope ourselves right there at our venue. The ceremony was simple yet heartfelt. We exchanged vows we had written ourselves, promising to love and support each other for the rest of our lives. I loved the simplicity of our wedding, which felt so perfect for us.

The Details

I love photographing wedding details, and today, I photographed our own! My floral bouquet is from the amazing Myrtle and Magnolia in Fishtown. My rings are from Emily Chelsea Jewelry, a local jeweler that practices ethical sourcing and is LGBTQ+ supportive and inclusive.

A Celebration to Remember

After the ceremony, we took portraits of each other and ate our delicious cake from New June Bakery. After our intimate wedding, we went out to a nice dinner to celebrate just the two of us.

A New Beginning

Every time we host a wedding at our venue, it brings back memories of our special day. It's a reminder of why we started this journey in the first place: to create a space where love could flourish. Seeing other couples exchange their vows in the same spot where we did fills our hearts with immense joy and gratitude.

Starting this venue was one of the best decisions we've ever made, and getting married here was the cherry on top. It's a story we'll cherish forever, and we hope it inspires other couples to follow their hearts and create their own magical moments.
